Vice President Of Technology
Mr. Math began his career with Heart of America Group in 1986, working in our restaurant concepts during high school and college. Mr. Math has since held numerous roles and operated several of Heart of America Group’s hotels over the years, winning the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) GM of the Year Award in 2012.
In addition, Mr. Math previously served as our Market Area Sales Leader in Des Moines and then moved on to Vice President of Heart of America Group’s IHG properties. In 2024, he assumed the role of Vice President of Technology, serving all of Heart of America’s technology initiatives. He also currently serves on the board of directors for Greater Iowa YFC and the ICI Advisory Board, and is an active volunteer for many youth group organizations in the Des Moines area.
