Michelle Jaurez

Assistant Controller

Ms. Juarez started in June 1979 as a waitress at the Iowa Machine Shed and worked every position in the restaurant. By 1981 she was a front of house manager. In 1984 when Grammas Kitchen opened, she became the front of house manager and later became the Chief Operating Executive of Apples River City Café in 1985.

After a successful career at Heart of America’s restaurants, she was given the opportunity to move over to the Operations Support Center in 1990. Ms. Juarez currently holds the position of Assistant Controller at Heart of America Group.
