Michelle Jaurez

Assistant Controller

Ms. Juarez began her career in June 1979 as a waitress at the Iowa Machine Shed, working in every position within the restaurant. By 1981, she had advanced to front-of-house manager. When Gramma’s Kitchen opened in 1984, she became the front-of-house manager there, and in 1985, she took on the role of Chief Operating Executive at Apple’s River City Café.

After a successful career at Heart of America’s restaurants, Ms. Juarez moved to the Operations Support Center in 1990. She currently holds the position of Assistant Controller at Heart of America Group.
