Mr. Milligan’s journey with Heart of America began in 2003 at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, where he played a pivotal role in the successful opening of a new location in Omaha, NE. Subsequently, he relocated to Des Moines, where he transitioned into the realm of hotels, overseeing properties such as Fairfield Inn & Suites and several others in the area.
In 2012, Mr. Milligan moved to Olathe, KS, where he contributed to the renovation of the Holiday Inn Express and actively participated in the construction of both the Hilton Garden Inn and the Embassy Suites. Following the completion of the Embassy project, Mr. Milligan and his wife embarked on their own entrepreneurial venture. However, their journey led them back to Heart of America six years later, when Mr. Milligan assumed the role of Vice President of Operations for the Olathe market in 2022.
