Steve Gust
Project Manager
Mr. Gust joined Heart of America Group as a Project Manager in 2016. In his role, he is responsible for managing the construction of new hotels and restaurants and the renovations, remodels, repairs and maintenance for all of Heart of America’s hotels in the Des Moines metro area.
Mr. Gust was the Project Manager for the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Altoona, IA and is currently completing the remodel of our new Hilton Revel Tapestry in Urbandale, IA, to be followed by construction of a new Hyatt Place Hotel in Altoona, IA. Prior to joining Heart of America, he owned a general contractor firm which specialized in commercial and residential projects of various scopes and sizes.
