The newest Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse — and second in the Madison area — opened Aug. 27 in the new six-story Hilton Garden Inn in Sun Prairie. In celebration of the grand opening, an official ribbon cutting ceremony was held Aug. 24, offering guests tours of the hotel and restaurant space, as well as refreshments. The Sun Prairie restaurant spans 7,500 square feet and offers a large outdoor patio on the southeast corner of the building. Johnny’s currently hosts 13 locations across nine states, and the brand has development plans to award 24 total franchise units by 2020.
