Laura Dean

Construction Project Administrator

Laura Dean joined Heart of America Group in 2023 as Construction Project Administrator. She is responsible for supporting construction projects through planning, coordination, scheduling, and day-to-day project management while working closely with project teams, contractors, vendors, varied government bureaucracies, and other partners.

With a diverse professional background spanning construction, healthcare, education, and retail, she brings a unique combination of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to her role. Prior to joining Heart of America Group, she worked as a traveling Assistant Project Manager, participating in design-build projects for food-processing facilities.

Originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan, she graduated from Lutheran High School North and studied Special Education and Social Work at Calvin University. She continued her education with coursework in Sociology, Elementary Education, and Nursing. She credits some of her most valuable experience to homeschooling her five children and the hands-on knowledge gained throughout her varied career.

Now based in Clinton, Iowa, she continues to bring her adaptability, strong work ethic, and commitment to learning to each project she supports.
