Ms. Staudt joined the company as Regional Director of Sales in 2023. Based out of Des Moines office, her responsibilities encompass in providing leadership in overall strategic direction of sales. Prior to joining Heart of America, Ms. Staudt work experience began at age 16 working as a housekeeper, then front desk & night audit through college. Ms. Staudt previous has worked at Residence Inn by Marriott & IHG hotels.

Kathy holds a bachelor degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Iowa State.
