In 2023, Mr. Leiendecker became an integral part of the Heart of America team, assuming the role of Culinary Director. In this position, he plays a vital role in the development, cultivation, and streamlining of recipes and kitchen practices across all of the company’s restaurants.
Mr. Leiendecker’s journey in the hospitality industry began during his high school years, where he found his first job at Wendy’s. This initial experience ignited a passion that would shape his career for nearly three decades. He steadily climbed the ranks, starting as a front-of-house manager at Macaroni Grill and later spending an impressive 20 years as a Managing Chef and Partner at Biaggi’s. His extensive background in various roles brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse set of skills to his current position within the company.
